Celine is a French Phuket based artist who is inspired by the people and culture of Asia. 
Her paintings is a lighthearted perspective on the stereotype of the Asian woman. 
The collection draws inspiration from Asian female faces juxtaposed with the sexualisation of women in Asian society. Before painting, each canvas is covered with original Japanese erotic manga cartoons. 
The paintings depict first and foremost the strength and beauty of women portrayed against a subtle background of vintage erotic imagery. 
Each painting is playful with strong, bold colours that bring each image to life.
